Terminator 2: Judgment Day

It seeps through ceilings and walls and catches bullets without harm to health, but it is very effective - in the place of gunshot wounds, even in the head, there are instantly tightening shiny holes. All this is the merit of computer technologies, which were first used to create special effects in the second "Terminator". But the T-1000 owes its impenetrable expression to Robert Patrick - a resolute and silent handsome villain in police uniform who not only regenerates and relentlessly pursues the Connor family, but is also distinguished by intelligence and ingenuity, cunningly transforming even into Sarah and thereby trying to deceive everyone and all. The main characters, of course, are also not bastard and finally find a way to defeat the enemy: they drown him in a vat of boiling metal. The character of Schwarzenegger is also sent there, who in the end got all the glory - obviously, thanks to that very thumb raised in the finale. In most films, the heroes of Robert Patrick linger on the screen for a short time - such is the unenviable fate of Hollywood villains and performers of cameo roles. Just as in traditional animation, rotoscopy from living figures was often used for realism of movement, so in computer graphics, real movements are transferred to the digital domain. To digitally create a metal person, from a linear skeleton to a fully moving figure with muscles and skin, the group first had to take photographs of Robert Patrick's movement features. Devastation
The film begins with information from Kyle Reeves, John Connor's best friend, that Skynet's vast network of military supercomputers has dealt a fatal blow to humanity. The whole world has turned into a desolate space, and the few survivors of the nuclear disaster have called what is happening doomsday. New terminator robots appeared that hunted people and systematically destroyed them.
Reese himself, born after the war, spent his childhood in the ruins near San Francisco. One day he stumbled upon a terminator and almost died, but he was saved by John Connor, the future leader of the world Resistance, a personality extremely mysterious, since it was not known where he had extensive knowledge about the terminators and how to fight them.
Skynet processor end
The war ended in 2029. A Tech-Com sergeant, having already become friends with John Connor, volunteered to participate in the storming of the Skynet Central Hub. However, he was asked to take part in the attack on the Los Angeles complex. As a result of coordinated assaults, Skynet was destroyed, but at the last moment its computers start a time machine, which again teleports to the past of the T-800 terminator in order to destroy Sarah Connor, John's mother.
Next comes the T-1000, played by Lee Byung Hun. The attack on a woman was noted in the 1984 programs. To counter this action, Kyle Reese is also sent to the past. "Terminator: Genisys" is a turning point film, the subsequent series are connected with it in meaning.
The T-1000 arrives in 1984 before Kyle Reeves and appears before him as a police officer. During the pursuit of Sarah and Kyle, the terminator falls into a trap specially set up for him, where he is destroyed by nitric acid. But before that, there are many events, one way or another connected with John Connor and his mother.
The film reminds that the terminator T-1000 once pursued Sarah - in 1973, but then, by an illogical coincidence, the T-800 saved her. The woman's parents were killed. How then the terminators got into the past is not specified in the film. The exact chronology of events is not so important, since the periods of vigorous activity of the killer robots stretch over decades.

The terminator robot is ready to destroy people, but at the same time it protects them from the invasion of machines. Perhaps this is a flaw in Skynet, or, on the contrary, part of the program embedded in the terminator.
Continuation
In 1991 the film "Terminator 2" was released, in which a completely new version of the terminators created by the Skynet system was presented. Technology did not allow robots to be programmed, so they worked in a self-learning format, had a certain intelligence, and this forced them sometimes to go over to the side of people. By doing so, the terminators violated the basic principles of their existence, they stopped destroying humanity. The film "Terminator 2" marked the beginning of a whole series of stories about invincible liquid metal killers. People were frantically looking for ways to fight the aliens, and soon the first results of these searches began to appear, so far only theoretical.

The creation of the T-1000 character was caused by the need to maximize the role of the new generation of terminators against the background of the emerging loyalty to people from the T-800 and T-600 series devices. New designs required a relative balance between legacy models and the latest versions. Therefore, the creation of the character of the invincible T-1000 was quite natural and logical from the point of view of the development of the plot. The use of firearms is pointless, since the bullets pass through the liquid metal matter as through oil, without even leaving a trace. The film "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" evokes a feeling of despair, so invulnerable is the deadly liquid metal guest from the future. He cannot even be resisted by robots, the same as him, but created using different technologies.
Transformation
Terminator 2 T-1000 has no vital centers, which means it cannot be hit or destroyed. In addition, the active combat capability of the device is beyond reason. T-1000 can change its chemical formula and become liquid or diamond solid. Able to modify, seep through any obstacles, holes, cracks.
