The Republic of Buryatia, we recall, was represented by the Buryat National Song and Dance Theater "Baikal". There were a large number of fans, three full stands. Filming lasted five hours.
Among the fans were the deputies of the State Duma of Russia from Buryatia Aldar Damdinov, Nikolai Buduev, Senator of the Federation Council from Buryatia Tatyana Mantatova.
Theater "Baikal" was the fourth in a row. Our artists performed a dance number with a national flavor. But demonstrating the elements of the styles they learned on the project: vogue, hip-hop, ballet.
For example, Anastasia and Daba Dashinorboevs showed tremendous support, Yulia Zomoeva danced on pointe shoes, Chingis Tsybikzhapov, Valentina Yundunova and Aryuna Tsydypova danced vogue, Fedor Kondakov and Ekaterina Osodeva samba, Donara Baldantseren and Alexei Radnaevich acted as a soloist.

The jury did not give marks in the final. Each of the judges selected one finalist. Alla Sigalova chose the Baikal theater, Vladimir Derevyanko - the Vera formation, Yegor Druzhinin chose Evolvers.
Glee, shouts of "hurray!" were heard outside the pavilion. The organizers rolled out a large cake with the project's logo onto the stage. Everyone congratulated the dancers of the "Baikal" theater on the victory, festive fireworks thundered and a huge certificate worth 1 million rubles was presented to the winner.
Of course, the "Baikal" theater deservedly won, we managed to love the guys, and they worked hard on our project!
Residents of Buryatia watched all this action on TV screens at home. The most active fans came to watch the final right on the Sovetov Square. On the occasion of the finale, a large screen was installed there.
Buryat artists and politicians spoke with words of support. Dozens, hundreds of townspeople rejoiced when the winner was announced.

Theater "Baikal" on the basis of its performance on the show "Everybody dance!" shared the first place with other competitors and went to the next round. For the second performance, the theater presented a waltz to the jury, and as the artists themselves admitted, it was not easy for them to perform in this unusual technique.
A ballet troupe of 20 artists, choreographer-stage director Arsalan Sandanov and artistic director of the theater Zhargal Zhalsanov went to the Russian capital to shoot the project on March 1. Theater artists will compete for the title of winner with 11 bands from different parts of the country. They will take the stage to surprise and amaze the audience and prove to the whole country that they are real professionals. The task of the participants is not only to adequately present their own style, whether it be folk or ballroom dancing, hip-hop, break-dance or contemporary, ballet or flamenco, but also to become the best in a foreign field, that is, to constantly transform and reincarnate. The winners will receive one million rubles and the title of the best dance group in the country. The performances are assessed by choreographer, actress, honored artist of the Russian Federation Alla Sigalova, theater and film actor, director, choreographer Yegor Druzhinin and ballet dancer Vladimir Derevyanko.

In the first, debut performance at the show, the theater "Baikal" presented the national dance-legend "Spirit of the Ancestors". - We tried to convey our ethnicity, the spirit of our ancestors, - said the theater artist Ekaterina Kukshinova, - we were worried that the jury would be able to criticize us somehow or it would not be very pleasant comments.
However, the jury was delighted with the dance, although Alla Sigalova expressed concern about whether the theater would be able to reincarnate for the next number, as required by the conditions of the show.

The host Yevgeny Papunaishvili stressed that the Baikal theater is the keeper of the unique traditions of folk dance and the winner of the Russian government award.
As the director of the theater Dandar Badluyev noted, after the first round, the ensemble had many serious competitors, because the strongest remain on the show. He stressed that the theater troupe should “try to surprise the jury and the audience”. To this end, the artistic director of the theater, Zhargal Zhalsanov, chose the most famous European style and decided to prepare the number based on the Viennese waltz. Note that the Viennese waltz is considered one of the most difficult dances to perform among the entire ballroom program, although it has the least number of figures. The waltz has a completely different technique, standards, figures and performance requirements - compared to the national dances that the Baikal Theater is used to performing.

The performance turned out to be spectacular: the Baikal ensemble performed in an unusual role for themselves, presenting a real swan dance. The men came out in tailcoats, and the girls in the costumes of swans. The artists themselves later admitted that it was difficult for them to dance, and the most difficult thing was to work in pairs.
Of course, when there are collectives of ballroom dance professionals, I don’t want to lose my face, it was scary, ”the ensemble members said after the performance.
The performance caused a stormy reaction from the audience in the form of prolonged applause, and the jury noted that the ensemble managed to surprise them.
The few steps of the waltz that the artists did were not ideal, but the attempt at change is magical, Sigalova believes.

The theater "Baikal" received the highest marks for this number - 8, 9 and 10 and as a result, with 27 points, shared the first place in the intermediate final table of the show, along with another team. The theater will continue to fight on the federal TV show.
According to Zhargal Zhalsanov, the Baikal Theater, founded in 1942, is the oldest and only professional song and dance theater that preserves and promotes the Buryat-Mongolian national culture.
For us, this is a very dangerous experiment, - says Zhalsanov about performing on the show, - but I clearly understand that we have such a message, a movement for change.

Today, May 7, on the TV channel "Russia 1" the final of the show "Everybody Dance!" Was held, which brought together the best dance groups from all over the country. Out of 11 contestants, only 6 reached the end - multiple champions of Europe and the world in ballroom dancing Formation "Vera" (Tyumen), the famous experimental dance group from Krasnoyarsk "Evolvers", young dancers (some are still in high school) "The First Crew" from Belgorod, the Moscow Predatorz Crew, the Sevastopol Ballet of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet and the State Theater of Song and Dance "Baikal" from Buryatia.
"Baikal" confidently reached the final, the only one on the show that has never been nominated for elimination. In the previous episode "Baikal" set a record, having received the maximum possible points. Their task was to choose the three best teams from which the audience in the hall would determine the winner. Choreographer Yegor Druzhinin made the audience jittery when he began his speech with the words - “Taking numbers from different styles for the final performance is very dangerous, you can get a vinaigrette. We need a special artistic style and high performing skills. Theater "Baikal" received a special prize from the social network "Vkontakte" as a participant in the show, who received the largest number of likes, reposts and comments. Before the final, a vote was launched, in which 75% of the votes as the most likely winner was received by the Buryat team.
As a result, after a short meeting, the judges named the three best teams. Curiously, they were all from Siberia. These are the Tyumen formation "Vera", "Evolvers" from Krasnoyark and, of course, the favorites of judges and spectators - the "Baikal" theater.
The audience in the hall chose the winner. Great excitement was read on the faces of the Baikal artists, and when it was announced that they had won the show (gaining 35% of the votes), the dancers screamed with joy. They were solemnly presented with the "Everybody dance!" and a certificate for a million rubles.
Your city is proud of you, all of Russia is proud. You have proved that the real artists who are subject to any style, genre and direction. You are great fellows, - the presenters addressed to "Baikal".
